This serene spot offers a glimpse into the natural beauty of North Sikkim. Bhim Nala Waterfall: Also known as the "Amitabh Bachchan Waterfall", this is one of the tallest waterfalls in Sikkim. Valley Highlights Yumthang is a serene valley adorned with a vibrant carpet of wildflowers during the blooming season (April to June). After a hearty breakfast at your accommodation in Lachung, you’ll depart early in the morning, usually around 7:00–8:00 AM, to begin the journey. The route takes you through Chungthang and Mangan, where you can make quick stops to stretch your legs or grab refreshments if needed. The road winds through the picturesque valleys and dense forests of North Sikkim, offering glimpses of the majestic Himalayas along the way. Though there’s no sightseeing planned, the drive itself offers an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the landscape, with occasional views of waterfalls and small villages. Arriving in Gangtok by mid-afternoon, you can check into your hotel and take time to relax after the long journey. Depending on your energy levels, you might want to take a leisurely stroll around the town or enjoy a peaceful evening.
